My first self-portrait. This painting started from wanting to paint my hand as I see it from my pov as I paint. Then I thought to extend mmyself into the reflection of a mirror, that would be the canvas. The ripples capture the different places I visited while I painted this piece. From Ocean Beach California, to the moutain forests of Flagstaff, Arizona.
 
This peice represents coming to terms with yourself and your purpose, becoming whole.
